The EASA Conversion Cabin Crew Attestation course includes all general theoretical knowledge of aviation and aviation regulations. Modules also cover all elements relevant to the duties and responsibilities required from cabin crew.

Theoretical knowledge of aviation
Aviation terminology, theory of flight, passenger distribution, areas of operation, meteorology and effects of aircraft surface contamination. General aviation regulations. Crew fitness to flight and duty limitations.
Communication
During training, emphasis shall be placed on the importance of effective communication between cabin crew and flight crew, including communication techniques, common language and terminology.
Crew Resource Management (CRM)
Introductory course on human factors (HF) in aviation and crew resource management (CRM). Effective communication between cabin crew and flight crew during normal and emergency situations. Stress management, situation awareness, information acquisition and processing.
Personality awareness, attitudes and behaviors and self-assessment.
Passenger handling and cabin surveillance
The importance of correct seat allocation, able-bodied passengers,safe stowage of cabin baggage, management of passengers, duties in the event of turbulence,motivation of passengers and crowd control in an emergency evacuation.
Aero-medical aspects/ First-Aid
Basic first-aid and in-flight medical emergencies. Treating air sickness, gastro-intestinal disturbances, hyperventilation,burns, wounds, fractures and unconscious passengers.
In-flight medical emergencies and associated first-aid covering at least:
Asthma, stress and allergic reactions, shock, diabetes, choking, epilepsy, childbirth, stroke, and heart attack.
Dangerous goods
Dangerous goods in accordance with the applicable ICAO Technical Instructions.
Dangerous goods categorisation. Theory and the treatment of dangerous goods on board.
General security aspects in aviation
General security aspects in aviation, including awareness of the provisions laid down in Regulation (EC) No 300/2008
Fire and smoke training
On-Air fire extinguishing techniques and general fire fighting procedures. Precautions and frequent checking of potential fire-risk areas. Fire fighting procedures and use of extinguishing agents.
Survival training
Principles of survival in hostile environments (e.g. polar, desert, jungle, sea) ; and water survival training including real situation drills.

Examination
Applicants for a EASA Conversion Attestation shall undergo an examination covering all elements of the training programme to demonstrate that they have attained the level of knowledge and proficiency required to perform the duties and discharge the responsibilities related to the safety of passengers and flight during normal, abnormal and emergency operations.
